Our Club

Old Catton Junior Football Club (est. 1969) is one of the largest, most successful and highly respected Junior Football Clubs in Norfolk. The Club believes that junior football should be primarily about the enjoyment of the young people and their families who support them and in doing so learning to play our national winter game and learn about teamwork, leadership and integrity. Teams will aspire to win leagues, cups and tournaments however judging success on these factors alone is wrong. They should be the icing on the cake. Our goal is to engage, develop and improve every player at our club; technically and socially. Achieve that and we can truly say we have succeeded. All coaches, parents and above all else players should enjoy their experience of junior football.

At Old Catton JFC we have had approximately 325 players per season for many years now which goes some way to demonstrate that our club plays with the right ethos, a team for every player. Our code of conduct and the fact that in many age groups we have three teams, incorporating players of all abilities, attests to this.

Old Catton JFC’s mantra to all our players, coaches and parents will always be; enjoy our football, behave in a truly sporting manner, respect each other and our officials/opponents. Excellent sporting behaviour is something Old Catton JFC truly believes in and aspires to and remains central to everything we do.
